Who is PSA?
Professional Sales Associates is a sales and marketing representative group. Its purpose is to represent contract furniture manufacturers in a professional manner and increase market share in North Carolina and South Carolina.
PSA has a balance of youth and enthusiasm coupled with experience and strong ties to the A&D community, end-users, and the dealer network. PSA also has experience and knowledge on the manufacturing side of the business. The PSA team includes Greg Phillips, Bill Wilson, Ansley Carlson and Virginia Chrisinger.
At PSA, we take an aggressive and strategic approach to our sales efforts and represent only manufacturers of the highest quality and service. PSA prides itself on being one of the best full service manufacturer’s representative groups. PSA takes a team selling approach in the marketplace. All team members are cross-trained to assist with our manufacturers and customers. We assist one another and maximize our strengths throughout the territory. When you think integrity, leadership, information and problem solving, think PSA.
Greg Phillips lives in High Point, NC and attended UNC-Chapel Hill, where he received a bachelor’s degree. Greg maintains a wealth of knowledge in the contract furniture industry. Greg possesses strong sales and management skills and has worked with dealers and accounts all over the country as well as in his own backyard of the Carolinas.
Greg covers the eastern portion of North Carolina and eastern South Carolina. Key markets include Greensboro and Raleigh. Greg works closely with dealers and provides excellent product training with the dealer ranks. Greg also assists our associates and provides leadership throughout the organization.
When not spoiling his grandchildren rotten, Greg enjoys traveling with his wife Judy, playing golf, watching UNC sports, sitting on the beach watching the water, and reading.
Bill Wilson is a native of High Point, NC, and attended High Point University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration and Furniture Marketing. Bill works extensively with A&D firms, corporate end-users and dealers. Bill also has a strong product knowledge from a manufacturing standpoint.
Bill covers the western portion of North Carolina. Key markets include Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Charlotte. Bill works closely with the A&D community as well as corporate end-users in this market area. He is responsible for assisting the other PSA team members in their respective markets.
Bill and his wife, Jodie, have 3 children: Weston, Spencer, and Rachel. Bill enjoys coaching his kids in various sports, traveling, golf, and spending time with his family.
Ansley Carlson Ford considers Charleston, SC her home town but, has made a new home in Columbia, NC. Ansley earned her BS in Interior Design from Auburn University. She has made contract furniture her career and has extensive knowledge gained from working all aspects of our industry, including design, dealer sales and management, and corporate representation. Ansley loves training, and has many longstanding friendships at the dealerships and design firms.
South Carolina and GSA are her focus. Ansley and her husband, Tim, spend weekends in the quaint town of Blowing Rock, NC. She fills her time with hiking, antiquing, ASU football and playing cards with their two nineteen year old daughters, Cameron and Gabby.
Virginia Chrisinger is originally from the Northern Virginia area and came to North Carolina to attend High Point University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in both Business and Interior Design, and a minor in Studio Art. She specifically focuses on the A & D Market in North Carolina.
When not on the road, Virginia likes to travel, work out and spend time with family and friends. She also loves reading, painting, cooking, biking and spending time in the mountains. PSA’s opening of a new showroom brought her to Charlotte in September of 2010, and she loves every minute in her new home city.
